Overview - Brief Description of Feature This management application can be run nightly from a central sight to retrieve unexpected terminal restart event information and generate useful reports. These reports are especially useful as new releases of software are piloted and rolled out and when new hardware is being evaluated. See Unexpected Terminal Restart Tracking for more information on the related Terminal component. Problem - What Problem Does the Feature Solve? Provides a way to aggregate and summarize unexpected terminal restart event occurrances for an entire chain or region or other defined subset such as pilot stores. Solution - Short Description of How the Feature Works Collects data by connecting to InSight Controller agent in every store to retrieve new terminal restart events. Information is then output to a database or excel spreadsheet. |
