InSight Overview Overview - Brief Description of Feature The Insight UI is a full-screen desktop appllication for Windows which was developed to demonstrate InSight's capabilities. It is targeted toward a central-site support user that needs to connect to one of multiple possible stores and probe what is going on with the POS controller/servers or terminals. The InSight UI makes use of nearly all of the features exposed by the InSight data model and management APIs. Here are just a few of the features you will find in the InSight UI:

The InSight UI primarly serves 3 purposes: it demonstrates InSight's features, it provides a useful tool for central support to access InSight's features on a store-by-store basis, and it serves as a sample program wth source-code provided for any user's who'd like to do their own management application development. Solution - Short Description of How the Feature Works The UI is a C++ WIndows GUI applicaton which makes extensive use of InSight's 'C' Management APIs. It is a high functioning sample although not a 100% finished product. The UI can be customized and enhanced on request by QVS or directly by customers.
