ForceSnp
is
a
sample program/utility that requests a
snapshortdump from a terminal.
After requesting the
snapshot,
ForceSnpdisplays the snapshot dump
processing status.
ForceSnpends when the controller agent
is finished with formatting and archiving the snapshot dump.

Source code is provided as part of the
InSightSDK.
The SDK includes a
Windows .EXE version of the tool.

ForceSnp.286 is included in the QSA_BIN: directory on the
controllers.

line parameters

The SDK includes a Windows .EXE version of the tool.

When running from 4690, the only parameter is terminal number.

When running from Windows, a controller hostname/
ipaddress and a 4690
userId/password must be specified.
The user must have 4690
command prompt access rights.
